Sleep development in chronic pain conditions
Zoe joined in September 2019 as a PhD student and completed her studies in 2023. Her research explores the trajectories of sleep function and quality in chronic pain populations using validated sleep tracking technology. Her research was funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). Prior to joining SERL, Zoe completed a MSc in Health Psychology at UCL’s Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care in Summer 2019.
Aside from her research, Zoe works part time at the Health Innovation Network, an NHS organisation hosted at Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust where she aides the spread of an evidence-based group rehabilitation programme for osteoarthritis. Here she leads on the collation and analyses of clinical outcome data for this nationally rolled-out programme.
